Our Story

C&C has been a staple of the Samford community since 2013. Set within Four Seasons — the family business that has served the area for over 25 years — our café is built on wholesome food, specialty coffee, wellness and a love for slow connection and community.

Our parents Ania and Eugene started Four Seasons Organics long before organic was a trend — because they genuinely believed that what you put in your body matters. We grew up in that store, around those values, and eventually took it to the deck out front next door.

When siblings Carina and Rob opened Canter & Colt, they were 23 and 27. Young enough to be a little reckless about it. "'Colt' represented us being young," Carina says. "We decided to canter on with it — just do it."

Twelve years later, we're still going. Still serving Montville organic coffee, cold-pressed juices packed with nutrients, superfood smoothies, and a brunch menu sourced through Four Seasons — because we've never seen a reason to compromise on ingredients. Plenty of GF and vegan options too, because healthy living looks different for everyone and we want a seat at the table for all of it.

We love our regulars. We love this community. And we love watching people feel genuinely good about what they're eating.

This store is an extension of that — organic, honest goodness you can bring home.
